EVS' Cut Optimization software module optimizes the fabric yield per class (e.g. A; B; C…) according to a set of constraints when cutting an "IQ-TEX Inspected" roll of fabric into smaller rolls.

The Cut Optimization module is operated via the “View Software”.
Cutting orders are automatically transferred to the Smart Table software module which controls the cutting table, resulting in a fully automatic cutting process.

• Required roll length: optimum, minimum and maximum
• Number of seams allowed
• Number of quality points per specified length
• Number of major defects per specified length
• Maximum length of a single defect
• Minimum distance between seams
• Length of piece at beginning and end of roll that must be defect-free
