The Smart Table is a defect monitoring subsystem that allows interfacing automatic inspection results with one or more inspection tables.

The system enables the operator to automatically stop the table in order to view the ‘points-of-interest’ such as mending points, defects and cutting points, as well as automatically controlling the roll cutting and marking devices.

Manual operations, such as mending, rolls cutting or second inspection, are accomplished more efficiently, much faster and at lower costs, using the automatic inspection results.

• Allows the accurately stopping or slowing down the table speed to view "points of interest" defined through the “View Software”.
• Triggers the defect marking device (invisible ink or metallic labels)
• Operates the roll’s cutting device according to the Cut Optimization results
