AS200 software interfaces with new or currently installed UT and scanner hardware to acquire inspection data, graphically display it, apply evaluation rules, and generate reports. The application is designed to interface with the ScanMaster Instrument and with scanner encoders, but it may also be integrated simply and easily with other exterior hardware.

Although AS200 software is useful in many types of industrial settings, it is particularly beneficial for mass production lines and for inspection of customized products. The application is widely used in pipe mills, plate mills, and other similar environments.

The AS200 application includes a wide variety of display, analysis, and reporting features, including:

• A-scan display
• B-scan and pseudo B-scan display
• Strip chart display
• C-scan display
• Automatic application of evaluation algorithms (according to international evaluation standards)
• Digital output triggering, according to operator-defined events
• Remote desktop and diagnostic support from the Service Center
