Mr. David Gal joined EVS in 2006, bringing with him experience of over 20 years in top management positions. Before joining EVS, Mr. Gal served as Chairman and CEO of Odin Medical Technologies Ltd., Chairman of the Board of MindGuard Medical Technologies Ltd., and Co-founder, President and CEO of WizCom Technologies Ltd.. Earlier still, Mr. Gal served as the CEO of Orbotech Inc.‎, headquartered in Boston, MA., USA. Mr. Gal also served as the Economic Advisor to the Israeli Minister of Finance – Mr. Shimon Peres.
Mr. Gal holds a B.A. in Economics and an M.B.A from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and is a member of the Israeli Triathlon Association.

Mr. Hillel Avni was one of the founders of EVS, and was originally responsible for the development of the IQ-TEX technology. In the last year Mr. Avni served as the VP R&D of EVS. After rejoining EVS in 2006 he successfully managed the process of replacing the old ITEX technology with the new Smart Video Camera (SVC) technology. Prior to that Mr. Avni co-founded Panoptes, where the SVC technology was originally developed.
Mr. Avni holds a M.Sc. in Computer Sciences, from the Technion, Israel, and was awarded the Rothschild Award for Innovation in the Industry for the I-TEX development in 1995.

Michael Bron, Software Director

Mr. Michael Bron joined ScanMaster in 1996 as a Software Developer and is now leading the development of the next generation of software tools of EVS-ScanMaser, as our Software Director. Mr. Bron has many years of experience in programming, engineering and R&D, in companies such as Robomatix.
Mr. Bron holds an M.Sc. in Computer Sciences from the Ulyanovsk state technical university, Russia.

Ron Mahler, VP Sales - UT

Mr. Ron Mahler, who has been with the ScanMaster since 1997, was personally responsible for a major part of the company’s sales over the past decade. Mr. Mahler led ScanMaster’s efforts in penetrating new, growing markets such as China and Russia. Prior to joining ScanMaster, Mr. Mahler served for 15 years at Israel Military Industry (IMI), initially as an R&D Group Manager and later as the Director of Marketing for IMI US and a Marketing Manager at IMI.
Mr. Mahler holds a B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from the Technion, Israel.

Benjamin Mano, VP Sales & Marketing - Vision

Mr. Benjamin Mano has extensive background and experience in all areas of operations and marketing. For 5 years Mr. Mano served as the CEO of Panoptes, after serving EVS as its VP Operations and VP Sales and Marketing/ROW, also for 5 years. Earlier still Mr. Mano was the COO of Fibronics and managed the Japan dest of Scitex, establishing in Japan a joint venture company together with Toyo Inc. Before serving Scitex, Mr. Mano served in various Development and Management positions at Elbit Systems Ltd..
Mr. Mano holds a B.Sc. in Computer Engineering from the Technion, Israel.

Yaron Menashe, VP Finance, CFO

Before his appointment as VP Finance and CFO of EVS-ScanMaster, Mr. Yaron Menashe served, for the past three years, as the Controller of our company. Mr. Menashe began his financial career at KPMG Israel, in 2000, where he served as a Senior Auditor in the technology sector.
Mr. Menashe holds a B.A in Economics and Accounting, from the Haifa University, Israel and is a Certified Public Accountant in Israel.

Silviu Rabinovich,
ScanMaster's Co-Founder,VP Marketing & BD - UT

Mr. Silviu Rabinovich joined the founders of ScanMaster in 1985 and throughout the years carried out numerous research projects in the filed of ultrasonic imaging. In 1992 he was appointed VP Marketing & New Business Development of ScanMaster. In this capacity, Mr. Rabinovich, and his colleagues in the marketing department, promoted ScanMaster products all over the world and set up a network of distributors in 25 different countries.
Before joining ScanMaster Mr. Rabinovich served for 10 years in Tadiran’s Military Communication Division.
His academic background is in the fields of Electronics and Physics and he holds an M.Sc. in Digital Signal Processing from Tel Aviv University, Israel.

Ofer Sela, VP R&D

Ofer Sela has joined EVS in 2007, during the past 4 years Mr. Ofer Sela served as the VP, R&D and Engineering of ADT, a world leader provider of capital equipment for semiconductors manufacturing. Ofer led that group through innovative research, new product development and ongoing product support and customization. Prior to that Mr. Sela served Kulicke & Soffa, in the positions of System Engineer, Project Manager and Marketing Manager.
Mr. Sela holds a B.Sc. from the Technion, Israel and an M.B.A. from Heriot Watt, England.

 Arie Shilan, VP Operations

Ms. Roni Vardi brings with her 8 years of experience in the HR field in Hi-Tech companies. Prior to joining EVS-ScanMaster Ms. Vardi held the position of Head of the HR Field in an outsourcing company and at the same time acted as an external HR consultant for a local branch of an American start-up named "KavaDo".
Prior to these roles Ms. Vardi held the position of HR Manager in the Israeli branch of "BaaN"– a global software company. Ms. Vardi obtained her B.A. degree from the Tel Aviv University, Israel and her M.B.A. degree from the Ben Gurion University, Israel. She also has a diploma in HR Management and in Coaching from the IMC Organization.

Mr. Sam Cohen joined EVS US in August 2003. Earlier, Mr. Cohen served as VP of Sales and Marketing at OptiTex, a company specializing in innovative 2D and 3D CAD/CAM fashion design software. Mr. Cohen has been involved new technologies when holding R&D roles in several Israeli firms, including Play-Tech and Romtech. In the past Mr. Cohen was instrumental in setting up the US subsidiary of EVS, acting as its Operations Manager, Technical Director, Regional Sales Manager, and Senior Marketing Manager.
Mr. Cohen holds a B.A. in Business Administration from Southern Wesleyan University, USA.

Chen Ofer, Managing Director of EVS-ScanMaster Asia Pacific

Mr.Chen Ofer joined EVS in the year 2000 as its Sales and Marketing Manager and he is now heading our efforts to expand our presence in Asia Pasific.
Mr. Ofer has over 10 years of experience in technology development and international sales management in the semiconductor industry. Prior to joining EVS he held an executive position at Kulich & Soffa Dicing Systems and at Israel Military Industries. Mr. Ofer's strong track record of successful management of sales & marketing activities and of building customer relations, bolsters his new role as EVS-ScanMaster's Managing Director in Asia Pacific.
Mr. Ofer holds a B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering, from the Technion, Israel and an M.B.A. from the Haifa University, Israel.
